Dr. Tetayna (Tanya) Allston is available in New Mexico for concerts, performances, accompaniments, recitals. She is a unique talent, born and educated in the former Soviet Union, having been trained at the highest levels of musical circles in the Ukraine.

Dr. Allston has been in the United States since 2000 and worked in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania prior to her arrival in New Mexico in late 2008. She has trained some of the most talented piano performers in the Ukraine and is currently teaching students from the age of six to forty. She is available to give piano lessons in her home studio in Rio Rancho, Placitas and in Albuquerque.

She has performed with the University of New Mexico Concert Choir and played with the UNM University Choir aswell as performing with the Clarion and Warren PA Symphonies. She is also a cutting edge accompanist often working with instrumental students throughout the Albuquerque area. She is available for accompaniments for not only vocals but all instrumentals. In the Ukraine she conducted accompaniments on a very regular as the chairperson of the distinguished musical school at Sumy State Educational University.

Dr. Allston's Ph.D is in Educational Psychology with concentration in Music Education from the Gorky Institute. Her writings include the creative art music reading and recommendations on monitoring and understanding sight reading.
